Yes, I have been paged over the intercom in a department store (Probably WalMart, as I don’t seem to make it to any upscale stores these days…or did I ever?). Furthermore, it was my husband paging me, and he informed me he was tired of waiting for me as I browsed. I think I would have preferred a lost child at that point.

Anyway, I looked up the Adam Ant lyric for you. You had is almost right: “Subtle innuendos follow” I’ve had my share of making up lyrics as I sing along.
